Privacy notice
The short version. We collect your WhatsApp number or email so we can tell you when Shvaas launches and hold your price. We don't sell it. Your Breathing Score answers never leave your phone. Reply STOP, or message us, and we delete your details.
Who we are
Shvaas is a pre-launch bedtime-kit brand based in India. For this waitlist, Shvaas decides how your personal data is used, which makes us the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Your contact: the WhatsApp number or email you type in.
- Your choice: the box you picked, or the items in a box you built.
- Referrals: your referral code, and the code of the friend who referred you, if any.
- Basic context: the time you joined, your country (worked out from your device's time zone), the page you joined on, and the ad link that brought you, if any.
- Anonymous steps: whether a visit reached the quiz, which quiz step was reached, but not your answer, and whether it reached the signup form. These rows contain no contact details.
What we don't collect: your Breathing Score answers. The questions and your score are worked out on your device and stay there. We also use your device's time zone to show prices in your currency, and if you pick a different currency, that choice is saved on your device. We only see which box you chose.
Why we use it
- To message you about the launch, your held price and your place on the list.
- To count referrals, so friends who join with your link move you up the list.
- To understand which ads and pages work, so we spend less on ads that don't.
We'll only send launch updates. No spam, and we never sell or rent your details.
Who else handles it
- Google (Google Sheets) stores the waitlist.
- Vercel hosts this website.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measures our ads through the Meta Pixel on this page, which uses cookies and similar identifiers. We may also give Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of waitlist contacts, so we don't keep showing ads to people who already joined. Meta's own privacy policy covers what Meta does with this.
These services may store data outside India.
How long we keep it
Until 12 months after launch, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Anonymous visit rows may be kept longer, since they can't identify you.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Leaving the list is as easy as joining it:
- Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message or email from us, or
- Send a message to our Instagram account, @shvaas.for.life.
We'll act on your request within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Age
Shvaas is for adults 18 and over. Please don't join the waitlist if you're under 18.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we'll update the date above and tell people on the list before the change takes effect.
